NDAD understands the importance of physical activity for individuals with disabilities. That's why we sponsor the annual Escape to the Lake extravaganza, which provides adults and children with physical disabilities the opportunity to water ski and enjoy a recreational summer day on the lake.

Besides adaptive water-skiing in a safe recreational setting, Escape to the Lake includes pontoon rides, a catered picnic lunch and a performance water-ski show provided by the Aberdeen (S.D.) Aqua Addicts. The event is held at Nelson Lake Recreation Area near Center, N.D., northwest of the Bismarck-Mandan metro area.
