“We’ve been dealing with [Roger’s] cancer for the past four years.  My daughter-in-law said a new program was in Dickinson that could help us out,” shared Mary Wilson of Taylor, ND. “Chantel from NDAD came out and talked with us.  This program has been a godsend.” 

Mary and Roger have been traveling to Rochester, Minnesota, for Roger’s cancer treatment and NDAD has helped them with medical travel needs as well as prescription assistance.

While not typically part of her regular duties, NDAD’s client services representative, Chantel, also helped coordinate a small surprise party for the Wilson’s. “The kids all came home and surprised us for Christmas. Our daughter-in-law said it was going to be a meeting with Chantel and instead it turned into a visit with the children and grand kids. Our hearts are just so full.”

Mary said that NDAD opened an office in Dickinson at the right time for them.  “Without a doubt, I would tell people that NDAD is an angel sent from heaven. We are so fortunate that they were there.”
