NDAD helping other to help themselves
Imagine needing medical supplies each month just for daily living. Then, you wonder if you’ll have enough supplies month-to-month because of the expense. This is the reality for Minot resident, Lexi.

“I had a couple months of going back between my provider and my insurance company to find out what is covered and what isn’t. I was recommended to apply for assistance for medical supplies from NDAD,” shared Lexi. “I explained everything that was going on to Marsha. She got right on it, and it was just taken care of. It was so nice to feel heard by her.”

Lexi worked with her nurse and Marsha Dupre’, client services representative at NDAD’s Minot location. “She understood my situation and helped me with kindness. She was a breath of fresh air.”

She’s been receiving regular shipments of her medical supplies and can live comfortably knowing she has confidence the supplies will arrive. “Before I would be worried at the end of each month wondering if I needed to make them last longer. It was a huge weight off our shoulders to not worry about the supplies or the cost.”

Lexi praises Marsha saying she’s been understanding and compassionate.  “Everyone I’ve talked with has been very nice. Marsha kept in regular contact with me and was very informative. She was helpful and I feel like she went above and beyond to help me.”

She encourages people to apply if they have needs for medical supply assistance. “There really isn’t anything negative from applying. Just call and start the conversation,” Lexi concludes. “I’m just so happy after everything NDAD has done for me.”
