The new issue of NDAD Insider newsletter features client stories, a closer look at qualifying for assistance, and the final essay written by the late NDAD co-founder and longtime leader Ron Gibbens.

Gibbens, NDAD's only board president since the charitable nonprofit officially was organized in 1975, finished writing the article shortly a few weeks before his death May 2 in Grand Forks. The rural Cando native was 80.

NDAD clients Amanda Galarza of Grafton and Brandon Becker of New Salem are the subject of articles, and winners of NDAD's Gibbens Memorial and Adaptive Recreation grants for 2021 are summarized.
