Marsha Dupre’, NDAD Client Services Representative, received the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award from The Magic City Lions.

The award was named for the Lions Club International founder, Melvin Jones. This Fellowship Award is the highest form of recognition and embodies humanitarian ideas consistent with the nature and purpose of Lionism. The Melvin Jones Fellowship Award is a great honor and is the highest accolade any Lion member can receive. The recipient must exhibit a commitment to and be an outstanding club member at the local level.

“Since joining, Marsha has exemplified what Melvin Jones believes to be a Lion,” shares her club sponsor, Leann Tennyson. “Marsha rarely misses a meeting, participates in volunteering as much as she possibly can. Marsha steps up and has chaired committees and is currently the donation/service committee chair and serves on the Board of Directors. She embodies all the qualities of the Melvin Jones Award.”

“I’m very humbled and proud of my choice to be an active Lions member!” exclaims Marsha.  Marsha has been a member of The Magic City Lions for four years and has been client services representative with NDAD for eight years. Even more, she is the secretary for the Alliance of Non-Profits, Vice President for the Senior Coalition and is part of the Interagency Council.
