NDAD recently opened an office in Dickinson. It is located at West Ridge Market Center, 3275 West Ridge Drive, Suite K. NDAD’s new office provides services for people with health challenges and disabilities throughout southwestern North Dakota, specifically the counties of: Stark, Dunn, Billings, Golden Valley, Slope, Hettinger, Grant, Bowman, Adams and Sioux.

“We are eager to expand to the southwest part of North Dakota. A more centralized location for potential clients in this area gives better access to the services we provide,” states DeAnn Burckhard, NDAD marketing director. This is NDAD’s sixth client services office across North Dakota.

NDAD client services representative is Dickinson local, Chantel Zeller. With 25 years of experience throughout the human services industry Zeller brings a wealth of knowledge and connections for the service area. “NDAD offers so many programs and opportunities for many individuals across the state of North Dakota. I’m looking forward to working with the community and providing assistance from a localized office,” says Zeller. In addition to helping clients receive financial assistance through NDAD, Zeller is a client advocate and will help refer to services outside of NDAD that may best fit their needs.

Those in the Dickinson service area will have access to NDAD’s full complement of offerings.  The charity offers direct financial assistance through many programs. After an application process, individuals may have access to assistance for prescription medications, out-of-town medical travel, medical equipment and supplies, home and vehicle accessibility, local accessible transit, personal attendant care and adaptive recreation.  NDAD’s popular Healthcare Equipment Loan Program (HELP) will also be available. HELP provides free loans up to 90-days for people who need crutches, walkers, wheelchairs, canes, knee walkers, shower chairs, benches, toilet risers, scooters or other types of durable home medical equipment.
