Early December fundraising events set for Williston area woman

A gift basket silent auction Dec. 5 and a drive-thru lunch Dec. 12 intend to raise money to help Carolyn DeMeyer, who currently is unable to work after recent surgeries and other health challenges.

The first, a gift basket silent auction, is set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sat., Dec. 5, at Eagle Ridge Golf Club, 6401 Third Ave. E.

The second, a drive-thru lunch, will be held on Sat., Dec. 12, starting at noon and continue until the food is gone at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2517 Ninth Ave. W. Cost is $5 per person or a freewill offering.
