Don't forget the 9th Annual Spin for Kids indoor stationary bike race and fundraiser this Saturday at Grand Forks Red River High School. It begins at 8:30 a.m.

NDAD again is one of the Spin for Kids' event sponsors.

The Spin for Kids mission is to provide therapy, programs, services and equipment to children with special needs within the Altru Health Services area community and region. Insurance does not always cover the costs for families with children who have special needs, who often face lifelon medical bills and expenses.

In Spin for Kids, each team consists of eight riders that ride for 20 minutes each. The teams’ pledges provide supportive programs, services and equipment to children with special needs in our region. Bikes fill fast; teams are encouraged to register as soon as possible.

Last year, Spin for Kids raised more than $185,000. To date, more than $660,000 has been raised by Spin for Kids.

All proceeds will be disbursed to qualifying families to help ease the struggles they face every day and help children live the fullest life possible.
