A big thanks to Service Providers for Seniors, Grand Forks, for a $500 grant it recently awarded to NDAD.

The money will be used toward purchasing durable medical equipment for NDAD's popular Healthcare Equipment Loan Program (HELP) at its Grand Forks office.

HELP provides free loans of durable medical equipment for up to three months to people in need. More information: /services/equipment/.

Service Providers promotes the health and well being of
Greater Grand Forks area senior
citizens through their appropriate use
of resources and services within the
community. It maintains a consortium of service
providers who work with the elderly;
provide members access to current, detailed
data on area services and client
eligibility. 

The organization also provides information to and foster referrals from professionals who may
work with elderly in the course of their
practice. Plus, Service Providers educates the general public, seniors and caregivers on resources and services
available for seniors, and also provides continuing education units (CEUs) for sponsored workshops and monthly meetings.
