Charitable NDAD was one of the Grand Forks area charities to recently receive a generous donation from Scheels as part of its annual Day of Giving program.

NDAD will use the $850 gift for client financial assistance.

Employee-owned Scheels gives to causes and organizations that support the communities that in turn host their stores. Scheels donates between 8% and 10% of its profits annually to organizations in its local communities and ask that they use the money wisely to create lasting change. Donations and sponsorships are allocated on a store-by-store basis, allowing each store to choose which organizations and events to support in their community. 

NDAD thanks Scheels for its gift, which will help fulfill the needs of people with disabilities and health challenges in the Grand Forks area.
