NDAD will have a booth at the Northern Plains Conference on Aging, set for Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 12 and 13, in Fargo's Avalon Events Center.

Lora Machart, NDAD client services representative based in Fargo, will be there to distribute information about our charitable nonprofit and answer your questions.

"Optimal Aging & Wellness" is the theme of this year's conference, an annual even for regional professionals and senior members of communities throughout the region. Topics focus on research, practices, policies,  ethics, self-care and motivation, with an emphasis on aging and current issues. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) also are available for North Dakota and Minnesota social workers and nurses. there is a registration fee.

Avalon Events Center is at 2525 Ninth Ave. S. in Fargo.
