NOTE: This program ended at the end of 2022 with the grant's expiration.

NDAD, with help from a grant provided by the Altru Alliance, currently offers the Transportation Assistance Program (TAP) for in-town medical travel in Grand Forks and East Grand Forks to residents of N.D. and Minnesota who live in those communities.

Delaying or foregoing medical care because transportation is unaffordable may lead to declining health or death.

TAP covers transportation costs to Grand Forks and East Grand Forks facilities for services such as wellness and prenatal check-ups, behavioral health treatment, dental cleanings and eye exams, among others. Qualified applicants recieve gas cards or city bus fare as funding is available.

To qualify:
* You must receive services by a local, licensed medical professional.
* Your appointment must be medically necessary (restrictions apply).
* You must already receive assistance from an eligible state/federal program.

Visit NDAD.org's Transportation financial assistance page  to learn more, download and complete the application, and submit it to NDAD's Grand Forks office at 2660 S. Columbia Road, Grand Forks, ND 58201, email grandforks@ndad.org, or fax (701) 795-6630.

NDAD. It's for you.
