Applications are now being accepted for the Gibbens Memorial Grant, to be used for health, welfare, social service or educational purposes for at-risk populations.

The grant honors NDAD co-founders, Faye and Ron Gibbens and their vision to always help individuals in need. Inspired by their son, Mike, who was born with cerebral palsy, North Dakota natives, Faye and Ron built NDAD from a small Grand Forks parental support group to a statewide charitable nonprofit helping children and adults with a variety of disabilities and health challenges.

“We are excited to open the Gibbens Memorial Grant application period and encourage eligible organizations and individuals to apply,” states DeAnn Burckhard, NDAD Marketing Director. “This grant is an investment in communities and ensures those with unique health challenges have the opportunity for more satisfying and productive lives.”

Application Details Past recipients have used grant money to promote and foster inclusivity within school settings, for equine therapy to reduce anxiety and depression, to develop inclusive playgrounds, safety programs for individuals with developmental disabilities and more.
