NDAD booth to be at Nov. 6 Caregiver Conference
NDAD will have a booth at the 16th annual Fargo-Moorhead Caregiver Conference, this year titled, "The Roadmap to Organizing Your Life."

Kim Zeeb, NDAD's client services representative at our Fargo office, will be available to answer questions and provide information about our charitable nonprofit's services and programs for people with disabilities and health challenges.

The caregiver conference, which is free, is set for Wed., Nov. 6, at the Hjemkomst Center.

The conference, scheduled from 12:30-3:45 p.m. that day, features expert panelists on a variety of caregiving topics. Heather Bryant, geri-primary care and dementia coordinator with the Fargo VA Health Care System, will present “Caregiver as Part of the Medical Team.” Stephen Astrup, regulatory and project counsel with Hospice of the Red River Valley, will present “An Overview of Long-Term Care Planning.” In addition, Linda Lammers, owner of Change is Good, will present “So That’s Where That Is!”

Light refreshments will be served. Area vendors also will be on-site during the event.

On-site respite care services will be available so caregivers can attend the event. When registering, please indicate your needs.

Registration required by Wed., Oct. 30. More info: Moorhead Parks & Recreation at (218) 299-5340; or https://www.hrrv.org/event/16th-annual-caregiver-conference/.
