Apply for 3rd Faye Gibbens Memorial Grant
NDAD’s application process is well underway for the third Faye Gibbens Memorial Grant, named for the statewide charitable nonprofit’s late co-founder and longtime program services leader.

As it has since the grant’s debut in 2015, NDAD will award a $5,000 grant to a North Dakota agency/organization to be used for a health, welfare, social service or educational purpose for at-risk populations.

Download the grant application and make sure it reaches NDAD by the 5 p.m. Sept. 30th application deadline.

The inaugural grant award last year went to a collaborative entrepreneurial refreshment service between Mayville State University and Griggs/Steele-Traill Special Education Cooperative to provide transitional life skills to students with disabilities.

The second Faye Gibbens Memorial Grant award went this past spring to Altru Family YMCA for its Grand Forks community playground renovation project that, when finished, will provide greater accessibility for children.

Faye Gibbens’ life mission was to help people with disabilities and health challenges. She died in early 2014.
