Langdon woman with advanced cancer who was focus of 2019 NDAD-sponsored fundraiser dies

NDAD is remembering Tonya (Arens) Peterson, a Langdon married mom of two who died Saturday. The 40-year-old, a longtime United Telephone employee, had dealt with lung cancer first diagnosed in 2016.

Tonya was the focus of a fundraising effort sponsored by NDAD in 2019 that featured a Nov. 23 benefit at the Langdon Eagles Club.

Tonya's survivors include her husband, Trent; a son, Drew; a daughter, Abby; and her parents. A graveside service will be held Thursday in rural Langdon.
