Benefit set April 19 for LeRoy Kurtyka of Grand Forks
A benefit will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 19, at the TownHouse in downtown Grand Forks to help LeRoy Kurtyka of Grand Forks, 60, who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in early June 2017.

LeRoy, 60, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in June 2017 and has been receiving chemotherapy at Grand Forks' Altru Cancer Center under the guidance of a Mayo Clinic medical team. Surgery remains a possibility.
