NDAD has received a $500 donation from Minnkota Power Cooperative’s Grand Forks employees.
The gift, presented Aug. 2, came from the employee Jeans Day fund. Colleen Fritel, Minnkota administrative assistant and the employee who nominated NDAD as a fund recipient, made the presentation to Lora Machart, NDAD’s client services representative for northeast North Dakota.
NDAD expects to use the Minnkota employees donation to support the charity's popular Healthcare Equipment Loan Program (HELP), which provides no-cost loans of durable medical equipment for up to 90 days to people in need.
Minnkota's Grand Forks employees have given more than $31,000 to charity through the Jeans Day fund since 2011.
