Ralph and Faye Thompson



NOTE:  The benefit for Ralph and Faye Thompson has been held, but donations continue to be accepted to help them with medical and general expenses.

A freewill-offering dinner, silent auction and benefit will be held at 7 p.m. Fri., Jan. 19, at Grand Forks' Southgate Casino Bar and Grill to help longtime customers Faye and Ralph Thompson of Grand Forks.

Ralph, owner-operator of Ralph & Sons Carpet Installation, recently had to have a kidney removed because of a malignant tumor. Faye also recently was diagnosed with cancer.

All funds raised will be used for medical and general living expenses.

The silent auction ends at  9 p.m.

Southgate is located at 2525 S. Washington St.
